Day two in bella Venezia was filled with many many kilometers to go, sun, ice cream, cappuccino and a lot sightseeing. But we made it and we’ve went through our “list” all relaxed.
We went up the tower at San Marco and had an incredible view all over Venice, the San Marco, the Basilica and all over the Canale Grande. It’s definitely worth the time and going up there – it doesn’t even take you long.
Down at San Marco’s I was a lucky kid as one (or even some) of all those pigeons were landing on my arm. The Venetians say you’ll be lucky in the future if this happens to you. So I’ve taken all my luck to the Doge’s Palace with me – an incredible Palace and probably the most famous one in Venice, located directly at San Marco. This building is just fascinating – builded in the 9th century! Unbelievable! I really liked the huge ballrooms and all the ceilings covered with golden details. The architecture around there is just amazing.
